Hi Jeanette, I’m so sorry for the delay in my reply. Yes, it’s tricky sourcing glace fruit and it seems to get harder every year. I have found cherries in Harris Farm and the glace apricots and pineapple I’ve been able to find in health food stores. I hope you’re able to find what you need in time for Christmas.

Hi I am wondering whether you have a source for glacé fruit as suggested in your recipe. Here in Brisbane we have been told the one manufacturer has closed down and it is no longer available.

My daughter has in the past made vast quantities of stained glass window fruit cakes but this year was unable to purchase the fruit. Any help you can give us would be much appreciated.
