I’m blown away by this beautiful creation of my recipe for Basbousa! And, we’re both blessed to know one fabulous woman, Kim, of A Little Lunch. My cookbook would not have made it to publication w/o her! Thank you thank you for sharing it! And, your post is absolutely marvelous. I have lavender ready to go, and I have been wanting to make this recipe!!! Ally’s cookbook is so beautiful, I love that you made this recipe! Your cake looks AMAZING!!! I’ve never had basbousa before – the testure of it is wonderful! I am so intrigued by this book though – it isn’t often you come across a book that is “part cookbook, part memoir, part family, part films”!
