We would have to live under rocks not to know that this type of cruelty and political oppression exists, but to personally know someone who has suffered like this must be very sobering. I’m sure you easily keep his story and the stress of a teenaged daughter’s fashion sensibilities quite separate, and it is good to hear about both.
