I wonder why people end up like that – and why they stay in teaching if they hate kids so much! That said though, I used to have an English teacher who was a real miserable woman. I chose English as one of my subjects in my senior years, and the difference when I went back to school was astounding. I guess because she knew we actually “wanted” to be there, but all of a sudden she was talking to us like we were equals! Amazing 🙂

Your post made me think about my experience with dancing…I always wanted to take ballet as a kid but my mom would never let me! So, this past year I ended up taking beginning ballet classes (for adults) at at 28! I will definitely never be great at it, but it is a lot of fun…hearing your story sounds like maybe I was best off to wait until I’m an adult to try it! 🙂
