- 250g unsalted butter, chopped
- ½ cup dark cooking chocolate, chopped
- 2 cups brown sugar, lightly packed
- 4 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 3 cups plain flour, sifted
- ⅓ cup cocoa, sifted
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup chopped roasted hazelnuts
- ½ cup sultanas
- ½ cup shredded coconut
- ½ cup milk chocolate buds
- ½ cup white chocolate buds
- Preheat oven to 210C (425F).
- Place an ovenproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. Add butter and chocolate and stir until melted. Remove from heat.
- Add eggs and brown sugar to chocolate mixture and stir well to combine.
- Add flour and coconut and mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.
- Place tablespoons of mixture on oven trays lined with baking paper.
- Place trays in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and cool on a wire rack.
